Corbett Water District currently does not accept online payments. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please read about the payment methods accepted below.
ACH
Automated Clearing House is an electronic banking network often used for
direct deposit and electronic bill payment. The ACH system is the primary
electronic funds transfer (EFT) system used by customers to make
payments, and the Financial Management Service anticipates that Districts
will increasingly use the ACH system to collect funds. Our customers will
be able to have their water bill paid on the 15th of each bi-monthly billing
period and never have to worry about paying a late fee as long as their ACH
account is current. Paying the water bill on time helps eliminate the need
for hours spent collecting late accounts, which in turn allows the District
personnel to concentrate on replacing water mains, upgrading the system
and providing the best water quality possible. Click on the ACH tab and fill
out an ACH application today. No fees apply.
CREDIT CARDS
We recently began accepting credit cards. There is a $2 convenience fee for
this payment method. Since we are a non-profit water district, using public
funds, the convenience fee will allow us to provide this payment option
without putting a burden on the customers of the District who chose to pay
another way.
CHECKS
The District accepts checks delivered in person, through the mail, and
through the drop slot in our front door.
CASH
The District will only accept cash delivered in person. We ask that cash is
not mailed or left in our drop slot. Thank you.
To help keep your bills down, check your water service line for leaks. Our water is a precious commodity that we can't afford to waste. Last year we had over $17,000 in customer leaks and this is one item that is not accounted for in the budget. Please take the time to click on the leaks tab to read about the identification and repair of water leaks.
